In this Back-To-Back Shows we entered Bolero and Elmo. Bolero is our National Breed & Local Group Winner '07, and Elmo is our newest Star, a beautiful buff boy from our "C litter", who just turned 3 months old a week ago. Chloé, Elmo's little sister, was also joining the fun. Chloé now owned by Ms. Farina J. Situmorang of L'Esprit Du Champ Cockers, and she was proudly handled by her new owner. Ms. Farina is a very sweet lady that loves Cocker Spaniel so much. She also eager to learn everything about dog showing.
Bolero showed off his quality by winning 2 Best Of Breed with "Excellent" Notes under Mrs. Glenys Alexander (Australia) & Mr. Richard Lopaschuk (Canada). He showed more mature and happy attitude when hit the rings. We are really thankful to God for these very sweet winnings for Bolero were able to accomplish all the CC requirement to attain Indonesian Championship title, with 5 Major CC to his account.
As for Elmo & Chloé, these were their first show debut & their first time out in the rings. After being seperated for more than a week, they are so happy to see each other and played like there are no tommorrow :)) It was so funny to watch them "wrestling and boxing ala Cocker style". They must missed each other so much. Both of them make us very proud too, by winning 1st in Baby Puppy (3 to 6 months old) Dogs & Bitches Classes under the same judges, all with "Very Promising" Notes.
In the second day, Bolero were so not in the mood for showing as he must be very exhausted from the first day show. He said enough for the showing and didn't give the best performance like the first day. Luckily for him, the judge Mrs. Thora Brown (Canada) still favor him and gave him 1st in Open Class. As for Elmo, our "energizer bunny", life is so challenging for him. He still had tons of energy for showing, as he more and more comfortable and got the idea about what to do in the rings. He enjoyed all the attention, and again got the 1st place in Baby Puppy Dogs Class.
We had to withdrawed from the 2nd judge, Mrs. Margareth A. Joyce (Australia), considering my daughter's and Bolero's condition. They were very tired. We didn't regret for the decision as it is our duties and top priority as a parents. Many thanks to the judges for acknowledged our boys and girl quality. We also wish all the best for Ms. Farina & Chloé in the next shows. |
